Down South
It's the summer holidays of 2022 and I have a whole three weeks off to enjoy. The first stage of relaxation was to take myself off down south to Dorset to tutor on the Wessex Band Summer School course, followed by a trip to Bath and finally returning back home.

Jon (bright eyed and bushy tailed)
I'll skip over the band camp itself... but in a nutshell we live in a field for a week and play a load of music together :) The above photograph was taken just before packing up on the last day just before 6am. TOP TIP: in summer always pack down a tent early so you don't have to sit in it at 300 degrees folding your things away!

During the course some us headed down to Poole to see the fireworks by the sea.

To make up for the fact I missed Jess' 30th birthday whilst away, I decided to cook her an extra indulgent blowout dinner at home.
